In Docwerx the Merge File module is designed to merge any Part File into the Parent File. Whenever the Parent File is available, the Part file is merged with it and the chronological order of notes and correspondence are revised for the Parent File.

Once the Part File is merged into the Parent File, further processing of the Part File is automatically restricted, however the history of creating a part file is maintained within the application.
